After many unsuccessful attempts, I finally managed to add my blog to the Favoite Blogs page. Once I did it, it seemed so simple. I do not know what I was doing wrong the first 17 times.
I suppose it is good to have wikis to share informal information such as "favorites", but I still am not comfortable using wikis for reference without issuing a disclaimer stating that the authority and accuracy of the information cannot be guaranteed.
